Australian native flora has a distinctive aromatic character that's harder to describe than it is to recognise. It tends toward the clean, the sharp, and the herbal, with occasional softness when blossoms come into play. Wattles and waratahs, lemon-scented gums, frangipanis along coastal paths, the salt-tinged sweetness of honey from native bees. These are real, specific sensory experiences — and they make for genuinely interesting fragrance starting points.
